Chicken Labels Show Green

Murray’s Chickens a producer of antibiotic free poultry is now labeling it chickens with a consumer usable code.

What does this code tell you? The farm where the chicken was raised, information about the farmer who raised the chicken, and even a Google Earth picture of the farm.

Why does this matter? Transparency is the best way to show that you are what you say you are. Murray’s based in New City, NY produces antibiotic free poultry at 45 farms throughout Pennsylvania and now if you want, you can drive right to the farm that produced that chicken. You can see for yourself how the operation is run.

The chickens are sold on the east coast and in the south so those of us in the west are out of luck, but if you want to see the website where the decoding can happen go to href=”http://www.farm.murrayschicken.com”> http://www.farm.murrayschicken.com
