Last week the EPA decided against regulating greenhouse gas emissions at least until a new Presidential administration takes office.
This week, however, the EPA has issued a warning about heat waves, hurricanes and pathogens that will pose “substantial” threats in the coming decades. The report said “it is very likely” that more people will die during extremely hot periods. It also said there is likely to be less fresh water in the west and more diseases spread through food and water.
These are serious warnings and seem odd in light of their actions last week.
